CIIE 2025 Media Coverage Report highlights global influence with six billion exposure milestone
On Dec 19, the CIIE 2025 Media Coverage and Influence Report was officially released at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on the opening day of the CIIE U-Fair. The influence on communication that CIIE exhibitors, trade missions, side events, people-to-people exchange activities, Hongqiao Forum events, supporting enterprises, and media organizations possess were also disclosed in the report.
Jointly compiled by the China International Import Expo Bureau and Beijing People Online Network, the report provides a comprehensive overview of the communication landscape at the eighth CIIE through objective data, intuitive charts, rich content, and professional analysis.


The report highlights the significant communication impact of the eighth CIIE, with over 2.4 million pieces of information circulated across the internet and total exposure exceeding 6 billion times, marking a 20 percent year-on-year increase.
Over the past eight years, CIIE Media Coverage and Influence reports have been consistently released, leveraging accumulated data and research expertise to become a key reference for stakeholders to gain insights into the expo's communication trends, earning widespread attention and recognition. These reports not only systematically document the expanding communication footprint of the CIIE year by year, but also serve as genuine and profound reflections of China's unwavering commitment to advancing high-level opening-up in the current era.
