In order to implement the instructions on emergency management and disaster prevention, reduction and rescue, promote integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta Region (YRD Region), advance coordinated development of emergency management in the YRD Region, facilitate domestic and foreign exchanges and cooperation in emergency management, boost disaster prevention, mitigation and rescue capabilities, and bring awareness to emergency management, decision has been made that Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction & Rescue Expo, or EDRR, will be jointly-organized. The expo is one of the highlight events during the 5·12 National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Week of the YRD Region.
