In order to implement the instructions on emergency management and disaster prevention, reduction and rescue, to promote integrated development of the YRD Region, to advance coordinated development of emergency management in the YRD Region, to facilitate domestic and foreign exchanges and cooperation in emergency management, and to bring awareness to emergency management, decision has been made that Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction & Rescue Expo (EDRR), will be jointly-organized.

In 2021, the first Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo (EDRR) was successfully held, with an exhibition area of 52,000 square meters, 435 exhibitors and nearly 70,000 professional visitors. At present, EDRR has become one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in the field of safety and emergency response in China.

2024, EDRR, as one of the heavyweight brand activities of the “Yangtze River Delta 512 Disaster Prevention and Reduction Awareness Week”, was held in May with an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. More than 500 representative enterprises in the global safety and emergency response field participated in the event. Among them, more than 90% of the enterprises are technology-based enterprises and high-tech enterprises, widely distributed in key industries such as low-altitude economy, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, new industrialization, etc., which comprehensively demonstrated the new productivity development trend and the latest scientific and technological achievements in the field of safety and emergency. The 4th Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo is scheduled to be held on May 13-15, 2025.

In the next step, EDRR brand will continue to integrate domestic and international professional resources to build the Expo into a comprehensive international trade platform in the field of safety and emergency response. In 2025, EDRR will cooperate with Messe Frankfurt to hold International Trade Fir for Security, Safety an Fire Protection(Intersec Shanghai) and International Air Emergency Rescue Industry Exhibition (AER Shanghai) for the first time in the same period.
